Audi Launches New Q6 E-tron Electric SUV Starting March 21

The new Audi Q6 e-tron offers advanced technology and superior safety features, setting new standards for electric SUVs.

Audi Korea is set to launch its all-new Audi Q6 e-tron, the latest entry in the premium electric SUV segment, starting from March 21, 2025. This vehicle heralds the brand's commitment to advanced electric mobility, being the first mass-production model built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), purpose-built for premium electric vehicles.

The Audi Q6 e-tron arrives with enhanced battery efficiency, improved charging performance, and dynamic driving capabilities, setting new standards for electric SUVs. Its design reflects Audi's distinctive style, characterized by sleek lines and bold proportions. This vehicle has already made waves by earning the highest safety rating of 5 stars from the Euro NCAP, with impressive adult occupant protection scoring 91%, showcasing its commitment to passenger safety.

The Q6 e-tron features advanced technology, including the latest 100kWh high-voltage battery produced at Audi's Ingolstadt plant, which optimizes driving range and charging performance through its compatibility with the PPE architecture and 800V system. Under the European WLTP standards, it supports ultra-fast charging at rates up to 270kW, allowing the battery to recharge from 10% to 80% in just about 21 minutes. Remarkably, just 10 minutes of charging can provide up to 255 km of driving range.

The model will be offered in four trims: Q6 e-tron Performance, Q6 e-tron Performance Premium, Q6 e-tron Quattro Premium, and SQ6 e-tron, with prices starting at around ₩82.9 million for the base trim and peaking at ₩100.159 million for the high-performance version, which includes VAT and follows green vehicle registration standards.

For buyers opting for the Performance and Performance Premium variants, Audi has bundled numerous high-end features and options. These include a tech package featuring 20-inch wheels, heating for front and rear seats, ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, and acoustic glass for added comfort. Additional options include augmented reality head-up display, 30 ambient light colors, and the Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system.

Performance benchmarks are impressive across the board: both Q6 e-tron Performance and Performance Premium produce maximum outputs of 225kW and torque figures of 49.46 kg·m. The Quattro Premium variant ramps things up with combined outputs of 285kW, achieving peak torque of 28.04 kg·m at the front and 59.14 kg·m at the rear, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h within 5.9 seconds. For enthusiasts, the SQ6 e-tron boasts 360kW combined output and achieves 0-100 km/h speed in just 4.4 seconds.

Range on a single charge has also been optimized: the Performance and Performance Premium models offer 468 kilometers, the Quattro Premium achieves 400 kilometers, and the SQ6 e-tron provides 412 kilometers. These figures stand as testaments to the vehicle's capability to meet everyday driving needs without frequent recharges.

Audi has ensured the Q6 e-tron is equipped to handle diverse terrains and driving conditions. The Performance Premium model features sports suspension, whereas the Quattro Premium has adaptive air suspension, and the SQ6 variant is fitted with adaptive S air suspension, all improving driving stability and comfort.

The exterior of the Q6 e-tron has been ingeniously crafted, showcasing the inverted single-frame grille typical of Audi's electric cars, combined with LED headlights and dynamic turn signals to provide both functionality and style. Drivers can enjoy customized LED light signatures from eight different designs, ensuring individuality.

Inside, the Q6 e-tron integrates advanced ergonomics with cutting-edge technology for enhanced driving pleasure. It boasts innovative features like the 11.9-inch Virtual Cockpit Plus and the 14.5-inch MMI touchscreen center display, with AI-based voice control ensuring intuitive operation of various vehicle functions. A dedicated 10.9-inch display for the passenger adds another layer of navigation and entertainment options without interrupting the driver.

Safety and driving assistance systems are also prioritized, with various driver assistance functionalities standard across all trims. Notably, specific models with the tech package pro feature augmented reality displays showing speed, traffic signs, and navigation details, streamlining the driving experience.

Pricing remains competitive within the premium electric SUV market, starting from ₩82.9 million for the Q6 e-tron Performance, moving up to ₩89.9 million for the Performance Premium, ₩100.69 million for the Quattro Premium, and wrapping up at ₩100.159 million for the SQ6 e-tron, all of which include applicable taxes.

For existing Audi e-tron owners, the company has integrated compatibility with the myAudiWorld app, enabling seamless access to charging station information and reservations, status updates on charging completions, and the option to link credit and e-tron charging credit cards for ease of payment.

The warranty provided by Audi Korea enhances peace of mind, covering all e-tron batteries for 8 years or 160,000 km, and power components including drive motors for up to 5 years or 150,000 km—widely regarded as industry-leading standards.

The introduction of the Q6 e-tron marks Audi's continued commitment to electric vehicle innovation and excellence as the automotive industry moves progressively toward sustainable mobility.
