With Xolos seemingly coasting toward victory, Atlas found new life after Matheus Dória’s stunning acrobatic ‘scorpion’ kick brought them back to 3-1 at the 61st minute. Dória’s goal not only reignited the team but was also remarkable for its flair.

Just minutes later, Uros Djurdjevic took charge, scoring from the penalty spot at the 82nd minute to close the gap to 3-2.
Then, the Serbian striker equalized at the 87th minute with another goal, showcasing his aerial prowess to head the ball home. But the drama didn’t end there. The real climax came when Djurdjevic completed his hat trick with the decisive goal deep in stoppage time, sealing the stunning comeback and making the final scoreline 4-3.
This result was especially significant for Atlas, as it marked their first win at Tijuana's home ground since 2015, breaking what many fans had come to call a ‘curse’. Djurdjevic's hat trick mirrored both resilience and talent, altering the course of the match dramatically.
