Aston Martin Bangkok Unveils New Vantage Sports Car

The luxurious sports car starts at 21.9 million baht, showcasing innovative design and technology.

Aston Martin Bangkok has officially launched the new Vantage, marking the next evolution of one of the world’s most revered sports cars throughout its storied 76-year history. With the launch price beginning at 21,900,000 baht, the new Vantage is set to excite automobile enthusiasts and collectors alike.

This latest model stands poised to make its public debut at the upcoming Bangkok International Motor Show, running from March 26 to April 6, 2025. Teeranit Masdit, the General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Aston Martin Bangkok, calls this launch "a great opportunity for customers in Thailand to experience the new Aston Martin Vantage under the concept ‘Thrill.Driven.’" Masdit elaborates, “This concept maintains the essence and flair of the original design. This makes the New Vantage a high-performance machine, reflecting technology derived from Formula 1 racing.”

The New Vantage showcases impressive design and engineering advancements, with dimensions measuring 4,495 mm long, 2,124 mm wide, and 1,275 mm high, boasting a significantly wider body, increased by 30 mm. Its wheelbase extends 2,705 mm, creating ample room for the 1,605 kg vehicle which now offers improved control and comfort for both driver and passenger.

At the heart of the new Vantage lies an upgraded 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine featuring Dual Variable Camshaft Timing. This engine boasts up to 665 PS—an impressive 30% increase of 155 PS over the previous iteration—and delivers 800 Nm of torque, signifying improved performance characteristics with 15% more torque than before. This power output allows the New Vantage to accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h within just 3.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 325 km/h.

The car’s enhanced front grille, now 38% larger, significantly increases airflow and improves engine cooling by 29%. This not only optimizes performance but also introduces aesthetically pleasing design elements alongside the newly introduced Matrix LED headlights, which include integrated daytime running lights—a modern touch reflecting Aston Martin’s new era.

Masdit notes the attention to detail extends to the vehicle's construction, which features aluminum architecture for weight reduction and improved rigidity. The antimicrobial adaptive damping system (ADS) implements advanced technologies like Skyhook, making traction and handling sharper and more responsive than ever.

Smooth handling is aided by the double wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension setup, ensuring the New Vantage adheres tightly to the road. The car’s braking system is equally advanced, featuring oversized brake discs measuring 400 x 36 mm at the front and 360 x 36 mm at the rear with high-performance calipers. Customers also have the option of choosing ceramic brake discs for optimal performance.

Inside the New Vantage, luxury meets modern technology with Bridge of Weir leather upholstery and the Bowers & Wilkins 390W sound system featuring 11 speakers, allowing for top-tier audio experiences. A Pure Black 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system completes the modern interior, with seamless compatibility for both iOS and Android devices, ensuring intuitive access to navigation and vehicle controls.

Drivers will appreciate the five selectable driving modes—Wet, Sport, Sport Plus, Track, and Individual—that allow customization to suit varying driving conditions and personal preferences.

The launch of the new Vantage not only signifies Aston Martin's 112 years of luxury sports car innovation, but also solidifies its legacy at the forefront of automotive excellence. This vehicle serves as proof of Aston Martin's commitment to combining high performance, unmatched luxury, and cutting-edge technology for discerning customers.
