Assam HSLC Results 2025 Declared With 63.98% Pass Rate

Topper Amishi Saikia achieves 98.50% as students access results online

Assam: The Assam HSLC Result 2025 was officially declared today at 10:30 am by the Assam State School Education Board (ASEEB), formerly known as SEBA. Students can now access their results on sebaonline.org, asseb.in, resultsassam.nic.in, assamonline.in, and assamresult.in. A total of 4,22,737 candidates appeared for the exam held between February 15 and March 3, 2025. Out of these, 2,70,471 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 63.98%.

Digital mark sheets are valid for Class 11 admissions and original certificates will be issued through schools later. ASEEB clarified that institutions must verify results through the official site or mobile app and cross-check with the gazette in case of discrepancies.

Out of the 4,22,737 candidates, 2,70,471 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 63.98%. The topper was Amishi Saikia with 98.50%. The second rank was Saptarswa Bordoloi with 98.33%. The third rank was Anirban Borgohain with 98.17%. There were 89,041 first division holders. There were 5,336 distinction holders. There were 16,517 star holders. There were 1,68,312 letter mark holders. The gender-wise pass percentage for boys was 67.59% and for girls was 61.09%. The top-performing districts were Sivasagar with 85.55%, Dibrugarh with 81.10%, and Dhemaji with 80.64%.

Students can follow these steps to check their results online: Visit the official SEBA result portal. Click on the “HSLC/Matric Result 2025” link. Enter your roll number and captcha as prompted. Submit the details to view your result. Download and print the mark sheet for future reference.

Alternatively, results can also be accessed via SMS: Type ASSAM10_ and send it to 56263 to receive your result by text message. Via DigiLocker: Students can also access their digital mark sheets through the DigiLocker app or website by logging in, navigating to the Education section, selecting SEBA/Assam Board, and entering their Aadhaar number.

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) officially declared the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) or Class 10 Results 2025 today, April 11, 2025. Amishi Saikia from Jorhat topped the exams with 98.50%. Saptarswa Bordoloi from Kamrup came second with 98.33%, and Anirban Borgohain, also from Jorhat, came third with 98.17%. The overall pass percentage stood at 63.98%. The boys outshined with a pass percentage of 67.59% whereas the girls’ pass percentage stood at 61.09%. The SEBA HSLC 2025 exams were conducted from February 15 to March 3, 2025, with practical exams held earlier on January 21 and 22. The examinations were carried out in two shifts — the morning shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the afternoon shift from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
