Assam HSLC Result 2025 Announced Today At 10:30 AM

Education Minister confirms results after brief delay, over 429,000 students await scores

The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) is set to announce the results for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Class 10 examinations today, April 11, 2025, at 10:30 AM. This announcement follows a brief delay caused by earlier speculation that results would be released on April 10, a date that was refuted by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

In a statement on social media, Sarma urged students and parents to remain patient, assuring them that the results would be announced as soon as they were finalized. "I would like to inform all parents and students that the HSLC examination results will not be released tomorrow. Once the results are ready, the board will announce them promptly. Please remain patient," he stated on X (formerly Twitter).

This year, approximately 429,448 students participated in the HSLC examinations, which took place from February 15 to March 3, 2025. The practical exams were held on January 21 and 22. The results will be available on the official websites, including sebaonline.org and resultsassam.nic.in, where students can check their scores by entering their roll numbers and other required details.

Education Minister Ranoj Pegu confirmed the announcement time via a post on X. He detailed the timeline for the result release, stating: "8:00 AM—issue of notification; 10:15 AM—release of the press note; 10:30 AM—publication of results." This structured approach aims to streamline the process for anxious students and their families.

As the results are set to be declared, many students are eager to know their performance. In 2024, the overall pass percentage for the HSLC exams was 75.7%, with 77.3% of male students and 74.4% of female students successfully passing. The top-performing students last year included Anurag Doloi, who achieved the highest score of 593 marks, followed closely by Jharna Saikia with 590 marks.

To check their results, students can follow these steps:

  2. Click on the link for HSLC Result 2025.

  3. Enter your roll number and other required information.

  4. Click submit to view your result.

  5. Download and print your provisional mark sheet for future reference.

For those who may experience difficulties accessing the website due to heavy traffic, the Assam board has also provided an SMS-based result-checking option. Students can send a message formatted as "ASSAM10_[Roll Number]" to 56263 to receive their results via SMS.

Students who are dissatisfied with their marks will have the opportunity to apply for re-evaluation. The re-checking fee is set at ₹350 per subject, while obtaining a photocopy of the answer script will cost ₹550 per subject.

The Assam HSLC examination is undergoing significant changes, as this will be the last year the exams are conducted in the current format. Starting next year, the Class 10 final exams will be held at the district level, marking a major shift in Assam’s educational framework.

As anticipation builds, students and parents are encouraged to stay updated through official channels and social media for the latest information regarding the results. The board emphasizes the importance of relying on verified sources to avoid misinformation.

The marksheets will include essential details such as the student’s name, roll number, subject-wise marks, total marks, and qualifying status. Students are reminded to verify all information on their marksheets and to contact school authorities immediately in case of any discrepancies.

In summary, the HSLC results for 2025 will be announced today, bringing closure to months of anticipation for the students of Assam. As the clock ticks down to the announcement, all eyes are on the official websites where the results will soon be published.
