DOHA, Qatar - The Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2025 reached its pinnacle with a thrilling final match held at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, where Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani graced the occasion, watching as Russian star Andrey Rublev triumphed over British contender Jack Draper. The match culminated with Rublev securing the championship title with scores of 7-5, 5-7, 6-1, drawing cheers from the enthusiastic crowd.

Nasser Al Jaber, CEO of Teach For Qatar, also spoke at the ceremony, acknowledging the invaluable collaboration between the two organizations. "Our collaboration with ExxonMobil Qatar has been invaluable to our mission," he stated. He highlighted the cooperative efforts to train and support teachers, allowing them to effectively teach STEM subjects, which are deemed core drivers of innovation and economic growth.

The recognition plaque presented to Al Jaber not only commemorated the impact of TFQ but also underscored the importance of educational initiatives aimed at engaging students and inspiring them to pursue careers within the STEM fields. ExxonMobil’s support has enabled TFQ to recruit and place numerous fellows within public schools, significantly enriching the learning environment. Since its inception, TFQ has placed 394 exceptional individuals as fellows, positively influencing over 51,600 students across the country.
