ANA Launches Major Discounts For Domestic Flights

The airline aims to boost travel during the peak seasons with new promotional fares starting at 4,500 yen.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has announced significant discounts on domestic flight tickets as part of its new marketing strategy targeting travelers during peak moments. The airline plans to implement these promotions on various routes across Japan starting from March 30, 2025, extending through June 30, 2025, except during the peak Golden Week travel days of May 3 to May 6.

ANA is rolling out this time-limited sale to encourage more domestic travel, with one-way fares as low as 4,500 yen from Naha to Miyako, and prices for other routes such as the Haneda to New Chitose line starting at 7,700 yen. With the offers, travelers can also infer potential savings when they opt for premium class tickets, which will feature promotional prices of approximately 23,100 yen for Haneda to New Chitose and 25,000 yen on the Haneda to Naha route.

The original announcement of this time sale was scheduled for February 7, 2023, with adjustments made shortly after release seemed to come as no surprise to the airline. The aim is to maximize occupancy during off-peak times and to attract larger crowds during the typically lucrative Golden Week. An ANA official explained, "Timely sales are aimed at maximizing our occupancy and giving our customers more opportunities to travel domestically at affordable rates," according to reports.
