An Exciting Weekend Of Music Awaits In Singapore

American and Asian stars will take the stage for memorable concerts this March.

As the music scene in Singapore prepares for an exciting weekend, American singer-songwriter Keshi is set to captivate audiences during his Requiem Tour, highlighting songs from his latest album.

Born Casey Luong, Keshi, known for his soothing voice and comforting melodies, will perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on March 26, 2025, at 8 PM. This concert follows his last performance in Singapore in 2022, as part of his Hell/Heaven tour. Standout tracks from his recent studio album, also titled Requiem, include the heartfelt pieces Soft Spot and the alluring Say. Fans are eager for the chance to hear these new hits live, especially after the success of his song War With Heaven, recorded for the soundtrack of the acclaimed Hollywood movie, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

While seated tickets have sold out, fans can still purchase standing tickets starting from $128 via Ticketmaster, ensuring that those eager to see Keshi perform can still secure their place. The concert is expected to be an unforgettable experience, showcasing his progression as an artist.

Following Keshi, Chinese singer Yisa Yu will take the stage on March 29, 2025, for her first solo concert at The Star Theatre as part of her Romance World Tour. Known for her contributions to countless original soundtracks, Yu is often referred to as the Queen of OSTs. Her popular hits include the theme song for the 2023 drama Meet Yourself and the iconic Little Happiness from the 2011 drama Office Girls.

In a recent voice message to The Straits Times, Yisa Yu expressed her excitement for the upcoming show, stating, “There will be many new songs and special segments. Of course, I will also sing my older popular songs, so there is lots to look forward to.” In addition to her latest album, How Weird Of Me, released in December 2024, the concert on March 29 will feature her most streamed track, Utopia Of Love, which she describes as deeply emotional.

Admission ranges between $128 and $248, and tickets are available via Ticketmaster. As anticipation builds for Yisa Yu's performance, fans are eager to see how she blends new music with her established hits, promising a blend of nostalgia and freshness.

Lastly, Malaysian singer-songwriter Michael Wong will join Indonesian star Putri Ariani for an enchanting concert titled The Spring Symphony on March 30, 2025, at Resorts World Sentosa. Wong, well-known for hit songs like Fairy Tale and Courage, has made a significant impact on the Mandopop music scene. His song Fairy Tale, in particular, earned him four awards at the Hong Kong TVB8 Mandarin Music On Demand Awards in 2005, solidifying his status as a prominent artist.

Putri Ariani, a talented artist who gained fame after winning Indonesia’s Got Talent at age nine, continues to impress with her performances, including her recent success on America’s Got Talent in 2023, where she received the coveted golden buzzer from judge Simon Cowell. The Spring Symphony concert will feature her captivating hits, including the emotionally resonant Tak Mampu Lupa and Mimpi.

This collaborative performance on March 30 will commence at 7 PM, with tickets priced between $118 and $238 available through Sistic. As spring approaches, the concert promises to be a beautiful celebration of music, featuring two of the region’s most beloved artists.

With three captivating concerts lined up, Singapore's music enthusiasts have a vibrant weekend to look forward to. Each artist—Keshi, Yisa Yu, and the duo of Michael Wong and Putri Ariani—offers a unique musical experience, bringing together different genres and styles while showcasing the rich tapestry of talent in the region.

The schedule of these concerts reflects the dynamic and evolving music scene in Singapore, and fans can't wait to be part of the live performances that celebrate both cherished hits and fresh tunes.
