AMP Evicted From $30 Million NYC Penthouse After Reveal

Streaming collective's dramatic exit leaves fans questioning the reasons behind the swift eviction

Kai Cenat and the streaming collective AMP found themselves in hot water shortly after uploading a grand tour of their luxurious new penthouse in New York City. Just three days post-reveal, speculation swirled as the group was unexpectedly evicted from the $30 million space.

On July 20, 2024, AMP showcased their sprawling two-story penthouse, boasting over 6,000 square feet of lavish amenities, to their fans via YouTube. The reveal quickly garnered massive attention, racking up nearly five million views and sparking excitement among viewers in over 6,300 comments.

However, the enthusiasm fizzled when Agent00, a key member of the group, disclosed on July 23 that they had received notice of their eviction. While he initially seemed uncertain about the cause, he did mention that the penthouse owner appeared to be growing weary of their presence. "We just got the call, not gonna lie, the owner’s been tired of us the last couple of days. I will miss the view. The crazy part is we just dropped the penthouse reveal. We gotta find a new spot," he commented in a Twitch stream.

Kai Cenat, known for his vibrant online presence and personality, expressed confusion on his own stream, firmly stating, "Word to my mother, we did not do anything, gang. We knew in here that we had to be a little more chill, and a little more calm. We actually did not sht, gang." When fans speculated that noise might have played a role, he countered, asking, "We're in a two-story $30M penthouse, where’s the complaints coming from?"

Adding to the puzzlement, Fanum, another prominent figure in the group, also weighed in, expressing disbelief that their living situation would come to such an abrupt end. During a livestream, he reiterated, "It’s not cap. Chat, it’s not cap. It’s not bullsht. We getting packed the f*k up, G. They getting us out of here. I just don’t understand why they’re getting us out of here. I just feel like we ain’t done sht." In a somewhat comforting twist, Fanum did mention the existence of two other properties nearby that could serve as temporary housing while they search for a new collective home.

Despite the upheaval, the last moments at the penthouse were not devoid of excitement. Kai attracted attention for reacting to a leaked track from popular artists Drake and Lil Yachty, creating a viral moment that further captivated his followers.

The abrupt eviction has not only raised eyebrows but also sparked questions about the future plans for Cenat, Fanum, and the rest of the AMP team. Fans are eager to see how this incident unfolds and what the group will do next in their adventure.

The incident could serve as a reminder of the unique challenges and dynamics faced by social media influencers living together, often under the public eye. As they navigate this unexpected chapter, followers await news of where they will land next and what content may come from their new endeavors.
