Amazon Prime Day 2025 Expands To Four Days

Amazon’s four-day Prime Day event will feature exclusive daily deals, celebrity brands, early savings, and global participation starting July 8

Amazon Prime Day 2025 is set to be the biggest yet, expanding to a four-day shopping extravaganza from July 8 to July 11. For the first time in its 11-year history, Prime Day will stretch beyond the traditional 48-hour window, offering Prime members a full 96 hours to snag deals across nearly every category on the retail giant’s platform.

This year’s event promises to be a game-changer, with Amazon unveiling a new feature called "Today’s Big Deals." These will be themed daily deal drops launching at midnight Pacific Time (3 a.m. EDT) each day, featuring exclusive offers from top brands like Samsung, Kiehl’s, and Levi’s. Shoppers can expect a fresh selection of some of the most exciting deals of the event, available for a limited time while supplies last.

NBA superstar LeBron James takes center stage in Amazon’s Prime Day 2025 advertising campaign, imagining how the deals might help him navigate the next chapter of his legendary career. Interestingly, LeBron’s men’s grooming line, The Shop, is among several celebrity-created brands participating in the sale, alongside names like Lemme, INBLOOM, and The Honest Company. This blend of star power and exclusive brand partnerships adds a unique flair to this year’s event.

Prime Day has long been a major event for back-to-school and college shoppers, and 2025 is no different. Amazon’s Back to School and Off to College shops will feature deep discounts on essentials, with school tech starting as low as $15 and up to 40% off on school supplies. Parents, students, and teachers can also save on laptops, fashion, home goods, and books, making it a prime opportunity to prepare for the upcoming academic year.

Although the official event kicks off on July 8 at midnight Pacific Time, Amazon is already rolling out early Prime Day savings. Shoppers can find deals on a variety of products, including popular gadgets and Amazon’s own devices. For instance, the Blink Mini 2 two-pack camera system and the Ring Battery doorbell bundle featuring the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus system are at their lowest prices ever. Prime members can also save up to 50% on select Amazon devices like the Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series, Kindle Essentials bundle, Fire HD 8 Plus, and Ring Indoor Cam.

Early deals extend beyond tech. Amazon’s own brands, such as Amazon Basics and Amazon Essentials, will offer discounts up to 30% starting July 1, just ahead of the main event. Additionally, small businesses are getting a spotlight with early access to their deals beginning June 23. Brands like LuxClub, OREI, Think Tank Scholar, HISK, PLANTIFIQUE, Lavisx, and Tipsy Elves will participate, giving shoppers a chance to support smaller sellers while enjoying savings.

For those who want to get a jump start on the tech front, several early Prime Day deals are already available. Highlights include the Anker 313 wireless charging stand at $14 (29% off), the Anker 633 10K magnetic battery pack for $43 (28% off), and the Soundcore Space A40 wireless earbuds for $45 (44% off). Apple fans have plenty to look forward to as well, with early discounts on AirPods 4 for $99, the Apple iPad (A16) for $299, the MacBook Air (13-inch, M4) for $849, the Mac Mini M4 for $499, the Apple Watch Series 10 for $299, and the Apple Pencil Pro for $99.

Amazon Prime Day is a members-only event, meaning shoppers must have an active Prime subscription to access the majority of deals. For those not yet signed up, Amazon offers a 30-day free trial, which can be timed to coincide with Prime Day for full access. Membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year, with the annual plan saving $40 compared to monthly payments. Young adults aged 18 to 24 and college students can take advantage of a discounted membership, starting with a six-month trial period followed by a reduced monthly rate of $7.49 or $69 annually.

Prime Day isn’t just a U.S. phenomenon; it’s a global event with participating countries including Canada, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. Notably, 2025 marks the first time Prime members in Ireland can shop the deals, expanding Amazon’s reach even further.

Amazon’s commitment to customer safety and transparency also continues to evolve. Earlier this year, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission issued an order requiring Amazon to notify customers about recalled or dangerous products sold through its platform, including items from third-party sellers. Starting January 26, 2025, Amazon must post recall notices on its website and notify affected customers directly via email and their personal account pages. This move follows legal complaints about Amazon’s handling of defective products such as carbon monoxide detectors and children’s pajamas, underscoring the company’s responsibility to protect consumers.

With Prime Day 2025 promising more deals, longer shopping hours, and innovative features like AI-powered shopping assistants, customers have plenty of tools to prepare. Amazon’s AI shopping assistant Rufus can answer specific questions about Prime Day timing and offer tailored deal recommendations. Shoppers can also use custom prompts based on their interests—whether hiking, cooking, or gaming—to receive personalized suggestions. Additionally, AI-powered Shopping Guides help users quickly research product categories to find the best deals suited to their needs.

To maximize savings, shoppers are encouraged to add desired items to their Lists ahead of time or use the Buy Again feature to track discounts on frequently purchased products. The Amazon app offers alerts for Lightning Deals, which are limited-time flash sales that often sell out quickly, so downloading the app is a smart move for deal hunters.

As the countdown to July 8 continues, anticipation is building for what could be the most expansive and exciting Prime Day yet. Whether you’re upgrading your tech, stocking up on school supplies, or simply hunting for bargains, Prime Day 2025 offers an unprecedented opportunity to save big across a vast array of products.
