Air France Unveils Redesigned Lounge At Charles De Gaulle Airport

The new lounge features French cuisine, a spa, and enhanced comfort for travelers.

Air France has unveiled its redesigned lounge at Terminal 2E, Hall K of Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, offering a more spacious and comfortable environment for travelers. The renovated lounge spans an impressive 2,800 square meters across three levels, providing ample space for relaxation and work.

The design, in collaboration with the global design agency SGK Brandimage, incorporates Air France's brand identity throughout the space. This includes the iconic colors of navy, white, and red, along with vintage travel posters that evoke a sense of nostalgia and connection to the airline's rich heritage.

Enhancing the sensory experience, the lounge features a signature scent known as AF001, created by renowned perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. This aromatic touch adds a layer of sophistication, making the lounge not just a waiting area, but a sensory journey for guests.

In terms of dining, the lounge does not disappoint. A Michelin-starred chef has curated a French dining experience that showcases the best of French cuisine. Menus change throughout the day, offering a variety of hot and cold dishes, desserts, and vegetarian options. What’s particularly noteworthy is the use of locally sourced ingredients from the French region, allowing guests to savor the authentic flavors of France.

For those seeking a quieter atmosphere before their flights, the lounge includes dedicated areas with individual and group seating designed for relaxation. There’s also a business area equipped with meeting rooms, ensuring that business travelers can conduct online meetings or work without the distraction of airport noise.

Additionally, Air France has introduced a special space for Flying Blue Ultimate customers, part of the airline's loyalty program. This area offers exclusive catering services that allow these premium guests to enjoy a fine dining experience while overlooking the runway—a unique combination of luxury and practicality.

To enhance customer convenience, a spa facility from the luxury skincare brand Clarins is also available within the lounge. This addition reflects Air France's commitment to providing a holistic travel experience that caters to the well-being of its passengers.

For efficient entry, kiosks have been installed at the lounge entrance, streamlining the process for guests. The lounge operates daily from 5:30 AM to 11:30 PM, accommodating a wide range of flight schedules.

Access to the lounge is complimentary for Air France's long-haul and select medium-haul business class passengers, as well as for Flying Blue Gold and higher-tier members. However, passengers who do not meet these criteria can still purchase lounge access based on availability, ensuring that more travelers can enjoy the enhanced amenities.

Overall, the redesigned Air France lounge at Charles de Gaulle Airport represents a significant upgrade in the airline's offerings, combining comfort, luxury, and a touch of French elegance to enhance the travel experience. Whether waiting for a flight or preparing for a business meeting, guests can now enjoy an environment that truly reflects the essence of Air France.
