Aiful Home Expands Warranty System For New Homes

The company enhances its long-term warranty and launches new housing concept focusing on family needs.

On April 1, 2025, Aiful Home Company, a subsidiary of LIXIL Housing Research Institute, will enhance its long-term warranty system for newly built homes. This expansion will increase the warranty period for various structural components, providing homeowners with greater peace of mind.

Aiful Home's updated warranty system will now feature an initial 20-year guarantee for the structure, waterproofing, and termite protection, combined with a 20-year warranty for the ground. This comprehensive 4-point warranty set underscores Aiful Home's commitment to quality and reliability in the housing sector.

In addition to the structural and waterproofing warranties, Aiful Home is also extending the initial warranty for termite protection from 10 years to a robust 20 years. This move is part of the company's broader strategy to ensure that homes remain safe and sound for generations.

Furthermore, Aiful Home has introduced an innovative 'Earthquake Insurance' program, set to launch in September 2024. This insurance will cover up to 100% of the building's sales price (including tax) for repair or rebuilding costs if the home suffers from total, large-scale partial, medium-scale partial, or partial collapse due to an earthquake. This initiative reflects the company's proactive approach to disaster preparedness and customer safety.

Beyond warranties, Aiful Home is also set to unveil a new housing proposal called 'FAVO - A Home with Natural and Easy Storage' on the same day. This product aims to address the increasing demand for efficient storage solutions within homes, especially for busy families.

The FAVO home concept is designed with a focus on ease of living, particularly for working couples. It aims to streamline daily routines by providing organized storage that encourages children to participate in tidying up their spaces. Influencer Arika, known for promoting efficient household management, has collaborated with Aiful Home to develop this concept further.

Notably, the FAVO homes will feature a spacious dressing area that doubles as a laundry space, ensuring that the flow of daily activities is smooth and efficient. Other highlights include a family locker for easy organization of personal items, a circular housework line that simplifies chores, and a study area where parents can supervise their children's learning.

The FAVO homes will also boast an open living room design, with large windows that connect the indoor space with the outdoors, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. A large-capacity storage area behind the television will help keep living spaces tidy and organized.

The reference building area for the FAVO plan is set at 96.66 square meters (29.24 tsubo) for a single-story home and 113.24 square meters (34.26 tsubo) for a two-story home, with floor areas of 65.83 square meters on the first floor and 47.41 square meters on the second floor. The pricing for the main body of the building is estimated at 23.5 million yen (including tax) for the single-story model and 28.1 million yen (including tax) for the two-story version.

Aiful Home's initiatives reflect a commitment to not only building high-quality homes but also fostering environments that support family life and community well-being. The company emphasizes a design philosophy that considers children's needs, promoting a safe and nurturing living space.

As Aiful Home continues to innovate and expand its offerings, it remains dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality housing solutions that cater to the evolving needs of modern families. The combination of enhanced warranties and thoughtful home designs positions Aiful Home as a leader in the residential construction market.

With over 180,000 homes delivered since its founding in 1984, Aiful Home has established itself as a pioneer in the housing franchise system, ensuring that more people can access quality homes at reasonable prices. The company's mission is to provide better homes to more people in a more rational manner, which continues to resonate with customers across Japan.

As the housing market evolves, Aiful Home's focus on quality, safety, and family-friendly design will likely keep it at the forefront of the industry, meeting the needs of both current and future homeowners.
