The competition aims to strengthen public service efficiency with roles available nationwide, including Bolzano.

The Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli has launched a public competition to fill 415 administrative tax assistant positions across Italy, including 10 reserved for the autonomous province of Bolzano.

This initiative, communicated through the agency's official channels, marks a significant opportunity for job seekers, especially for those who hold at least a secondary school diploma.

According to the agency's statement, the selection process will involve a single comprehensive assessment, testing candidates on subjects such as constitutional, administrative, and tax law, as well as European Union regulations. A good command of the English language and proficiency with computer applications are also required.

The application window opens on December 31, 2024, at 9:00 AM and will remain open until January 20, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Applicants can submit their applications through the unified recruitment portal at inpa.gov.it.

"Prosegue così l’impegno dell’Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli per l’efficientamento del settore e della sua struttura," indicated the agency, emphasizing the goal of providing optimal services to citizens and economic operators.

The 415 available positions will be distributed across various regions. The greatest number of roles—80—will be assigned to Lombardy, followed by 40 positions allocated to Veneto, and 35 to Liguria. The spread of jobs is comprehensive, covering not only major regions but also extending to smaller areas, with 10 positions earmarked for both the Marche and Umbria.

Following the application period, candidates must be prepared to undertake assessments covering various legal contexts, as detailed earlier. These include not only field-specific knowledge but also competencies associated with soft skills such as problem-solving and reliable communication capabilities.

The assistant role at the Agenzia involves undertaking administrative functions within set procedures, offering support for tax matters, preparing documents, and reporting irregularities. Hence, candidates will be expected to demonstrate utmost diligence and responsibility.

Joining the ranks of the Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli can be a stepping stone toward various career paths within Italy's public administration sector. The agency conducts numerous competitions annually, making these opportunities highly competitive.

With 2025 just around the corner, prospective applicants are encouraged to prepare thoroughly for the selection process, keeping the January deadline firmly in mind.
