The Aftershock Festival is set to rock Sacramento for its 2025 edition, taking place from October 2-5 at Discovery Park. Featuring headliners like Blink-182, Deftones, Korn, and Bring Me the Horizon, the event promises to be one of the biggest rock music festivals on the West Coast. With over 115 bands scheduled to perform across four days, it is not just another rock festival.

Dan Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents praised the lineup, stating, "Aftershock is the biggest rock, punk, and metal festival on the West Coast. This year, it lined up perfectly for California fans. We've got legendary reunions, rare performances, and more California bands on this lineup than any Aftershock before." He also expressed confidence about breaking attendance records, adding, "Trust me, you don't want to miss it. I hope to see you there." This year is set to be the biggest yet, making it even more thrilling for festival enthusiasts.

The festival kicks off on Thursday, October 2, with pop-punk legends Blink-182 headlining. The day will also feature Good Charlotte, All Time Low, taking back Sunday, and Alkaline Trio, among others. This opening lineup promises high-energy performances from some of the most beloved names in the genre, ensuring fans start the festival on the right foot.

Friday, October 3, will see Sacramento's own Deftones take the lead, accompanied by prominent acts such as A Perfect Circle and Turnstile. This exciting day features additional highlights including Knocked Loose, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Lamb of God, and Bruce Dickinson. The wide array of musicians appeals to diverse tastes within the rock and metal communities.

Saturday, October 4, brings Korn to the forefront, alongside Bad Omens, Gojira, and Chevelle. The full lineup for Saturday is stacked, including moments to catch rising stars like Three Days Grace with Adam Gontier and Trivium. Heavy-hitting acts like August Burns Red and Dragonforce are sure to draw crowds eager for loud and energetic shows.

The festival will close out on Sunday, October 5, with headliners Bring Me the Horizon, Rob Zombie, and Marilyn Manson, ensuring the grand finale is one to be remembered. This last day packs even more punch with performances from Motionless in White, Black Veil Brides, and Machine Head. The blend of well-established acts and newer talent promises to attract attendees from across the country.

Beyond the music, festival-goers can explore various vendor displays featuring merchandise, food, and memorabilia dedicated to their favorite bands. With such a diverse lineup spanning multiple genres and decades, Aftershock 2025 is positioning itself to maintain its reputation as the premier rock festival on the West Coast.

With the cancellation of the GoldenSky festival last month, there is significant excitement surrounding Aftershock's return. While organizers hope to bring back GoldenSky for 2026, the focus now shifts to making this year’s lineup truly unforgettable. All information, including tickets and lodging options, can be accessed through the festival's official website.

Overall, Aftershock 2025 stands as not only a music festival but as a cultural phenomenon, celebrating the vibrant and diverse world of rock music. This year's event promises to be full of surprises and noteworthy performances, marking the milestones of both legacy acts and up-and-coming bands alike. The anticipation is building, and fans will eagerly await the festival weekend to revel in the atmosphere of great music and camaraderie.
