Aero India 2025, Asia’s Largest Aerospace Exhibition, is all set to take to the skies from February 10 to 14, 2025, at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The theme of this year’s event, "The Runway to a Billion Opportunities," aims to strengthen relationships between Indian and international enterprises, exploring new avenues for collaboration and fostering indigenization within the aerospace sector.

Organized by the Ministry of Defence, alongside Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Aero India has garnered significant attention since its inception in 1996. The first edition welcomed 12 nations and approximately 25,000 visitors per day, and since then, the event has evolved considerably, now attracting defense officials, industry leaders, and aviation enthusiasts worldwide.

The biennial event promises thrilling aerial performances and exhibitions from more than 15 countries, featuring cutting-edge fighter jets, helicopters, and drones. With over 800 exhibits planned, attendees can expect to see the latest advancements showcased across both military and civilian aviation sectors. Domestic and international teams are prepared to dazzle the audience with breathtaking flyovers and aerobatic displays, setting the stage for both excitement and innovation.

"The event highlights technological advancements and provides insights about the future of global aviation," said sources from the organizing committee. Workshops and seminars will also be held during Aero India 2025, led by industry experts who will discuss pressing issues and trends shaping the aerospace and defense fields.

Networking opportunities abound as industry leaders come together to explore potential collaborations and business strategies. This event serves as more than just airshows; it is key for stakeholders focusing on growth and partnerships within the aerospace and defense sectors.

For those interested in attending, Aero India provides various ticket options. The Business Pass is priced at Rs 5,000 for Indian nationals and USD 50 for foreign nationals, whereas the ADVA Pass costs Rs 1,000 for Indians and USD 50 for foreign visitors. General Visitor Passes are available for Rs 2,500 and USD 50 for the respective nationalities during public days on February 13 and 14.

Upon successful registration, attendees will receive confirmation and pass details via email.

The event will be open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing ample opportunity to explore exhibitions, attend workshops, and observe the stunning aerial displays. The first three days of the event will be reserved for business visitors, allowing industry professionals to engage without public distractions. On the final two days, the gates will open to the general public, offering everyone the chance to witness spectacular air performances and explore static exhibitions of military aviation.

Visitors should also be aware of temporary flight disruptions around Kempegowda International Airport due to airspace restrictions during the event. Attendees are encouraged to check flight schedules and plan their travel accordingly, especially if arriving by air.

Parking arrangements have been made at designated locations such as GKVK & Jakkur campuses, with shuttle buses available to ferry visitors to and from the venue. Attendees should plan for significant travel time from the airport to the event, approximately 40-45 minutes by road, and should arrive early since parking may take time to secure. Visitors are also advised to carry valid government IDs for security checks and are permitted to bring DSLR cameras, though drones are strictly prohibited.
