AC/DC Returns To Madrid For 2025 Concert

The legendary band will perform at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium on July 12, 2025.

Legendary rock band AC/DC is set to rock Madrid on July 12, 2025, as part of their global 'Power Up' tour. The concert will take place at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium, marking the band's only performance in Spain during this extensive European tour.

Fans eager to attend can start purchasing tickets beginning at 10 AM on February 7, 2025. This tour follows the band's previous successful concert held last summer at La Cartuja stadium in Sevilla, where they were met with rousing cheers from fans.

The 'Power Up' tour will consist of 12 concerts across 10 different countries, beginning on June 26, 2025, at the Letnany Airport in Prague. The band will then perform at iconic venues, including the Olympic Stadium in Berlin and the PGE Narodowy stadium in Warsaw, before making their way to Madrid.

The lineup for AC/DC consists of some of rock's most influential musicians, including Angus Young on lead guitar, Brian Johnson on vocals, and Stevie Young on rhythm guitar, along with Matt Laug on drums and Chris Chaney on bass. With over five decades of experience, AC/DC remains one of the world's biggest rock acts.

Ticket prices for the Madrid concert vary, with general admission tickets starting at €100 (plus €13.50 fees) for those located at the back of the stadium and reaching up to €165 (plus €22 fees) for prime seating on the pitch area. For those seeking grandstand seats, prices are approximately €155 and €125, with respective fees applied.

The excitement surrounding the concert is palpable, and AC/DC's return to Madrid is anticipated not only for its electrifying performances but also for the nostalgic connection many fans share with the band's classic hits. The band, known for timeless songs such as 'Back in Black' and 'Highway to Hell', promises to deliver another unforgettable show.

After Madrid, the band will continue their tour with performances planned throughout Europe, including stops at the Autódromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, Italy, on July 20, and at the Song Festival Grounds in Tallinn, Estonia, on July 24, marking their first-ever concert there.

On August 5, they'll make their way to Oslo, Norway, followed by shows at Paris's Stade de France on August 9, and finally, the tour concludes on August 21 at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland—the turf of the Young family's ancestral roots, marking their first performance there in ten years.

Since their formation back in 1973, AC/DC has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide, with 'Back in Black' being the highest-selling album of all time by any band and the third overall, amassing over 50 million global sales. The band was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® back in 2003, solidifying their legacy as rock legends.

Social media buzz surrounding this concert announcement has been explosive, with thousands of fans expressing enthusiasm and anticipation for the event. The band released a promotional video showcasing European landmarks and flags, heightening the excitement of their upcoming performances.

AC/DC’s electrifying music continues to resonate with fans of all ages, proving their status as rock royalty and ensuring their concerts remain must-see events for die-hard rock enthusiasts. With their rich history and unmatched energy, the 2025 Madrid concert is positioned to be yet another historic chapter for the band and its fans alike.
