The Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi is also amplifying holiday offerings with a family wellness escape that includes yoga sessions for children and mindfulness activities, further promoting health and wellness during this festive season.

Catering to pop culture enthusiasts, the Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) 2025, scheduled from April 18 to April 20, will transform Abu Dhabi into a vibrant hub for cinema, anime, and cosplay fans, promising an electric atmosphere filled with excitement and creativity.

Throughout the Easter celebrations, Abu Dhabi offers more than just a vacation; it presents an immersive experience that combines traditions, innovation, and exceptional hospitality. Whether visitors seek relaxation on beautiful beaches or thrilling adventures, the emirate is ready to dazzle and delight every traveler who sets foot in its enchanting realm.

In tandem with these festivities, a noteworthy cultural event is the opening of The Prism, an artistic project by Stefano Simontacchi, at the Bassam Freiha Art Foundation in Abu Dhabi. This exhibition, which commenced on March 12, 2025, and will continue until August 31, offers visitors two immersive pathways: “Project Oneness” and “Trust, Gratitude and Love Journey.”

The exhibition’s first segment, Project Oneness, invites the audience to explore the theme of duality and the concept of universal unity through a series of interconnected rooms. Stefano Simontacchi explained the intent behind his work, stating, “Project Oneness represents an invitation to go beyond that veil, which, due to rationality, we place between our eyes and the reality it hides, in order to understand that we are one with the universe.”

Visitors will experience the breaking down of mental constructs as they navigate three uniquely designed spaces, each offering a different exploration of existence beyond conventional divisions of good and evil.

Marco Senaldi, the exhibition's curator, elaborated on the experience, highlighting that “The journey develops through three interconnected rooms, each introduced by doors reflecting the concept of the works within.” By breaking through these barriers, participants discover a greater awareness of their connection to the universe.

The second part of the exhibition, Trust, Gratitude and Love Journey, takes place within the Annex Gallery and focuses on spiritual connections through seven artworks. Each piece emphasizes essential principles of trust, gratitude, and love. This journey urges spectators to reconnect deeply with themselves and the universe.

In a statement about the exhibition, Michaela Watrelot, the foundation's curator, remarked, “The Prism has an absolute talent for using light and space in new and interesting ways... We are excited to see how these works will challenge perceptions and foster dialogue within the community here at Bassam Freiha.”

As one of the premier art spaces on Saadiyat Island, the Bassam Freiha Art Foundation continues to blend innovative artistic expression with community engagement, aiming to make art accessible to everyone. The foundation not only showcases unique artworks but also enhances cultural dialogues between Italy and the UAE, exemplified by the event’s backing from the Italian embassy.

As the Easter holiday approaches, both religious and cultural events in Abu Dhabi create an extraordinary experience for tourists and locals alike, providing opportunities to engage in exploration, creativity, and togetherness. Abu Dhabi stands poised as a prime destination for memorable celebrations.
