ABEMA Unveils New Love Reality Show Captivating Audiences

The latest episode of Love Power Kingdom stirs excitement with dramatic twists and emotional stakes.

ABEMA has launched its original love reality show, titled Love Power Kingdom ~Love Strongest Election~, offering free streaming to viewers as of March 19, 2025. The show is broadcast every Wednesday at 10 PM on the ABEMA SPECIAL channel. This engaging series features 16 attractive participants vying for the titles of No.1 popular man and woman through high-class love games.

The show, which has captivated audiences with its dramatic twists and turns, is presented by a combination of well-known hosts, comprising Seiya from the comedy duo Shimofuri Myojo, personality YOU, Kenjiro Iwata from the dance and vocal group Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS, and personality Maria Tani.

The introductory episode set the stage for intense competition, as participants who ranked lowest in the Popularity Ranking faced immediate elimination. The first round led participants into a seaside cruise party. Here, they were tasked with securing Good Points from the opposite sex, which would influence the outcome of the first Popularity Vote.

Seemingly innocent, the cruise party included a unique challenge. The male participants faced a “Popularity Mission” where they picked a woman to perform various affectionate gestures. The results of this vote would ultimately decide who would be at risk of elimination.

One dramatic move came when model Reika, regarded as the Visual Representative, suffered a shocking elimination despite her strong visual presence. This turmoil left viewers expressing their astonishment online, as reactions flooded in such as, “It’s so strategic!” and “I can’t wait for the next episode!”

In the second episode, Hiroki—a self-proclaimed Provisional King—and Aoi, designated as the Provisional Queen, were given the power to nominate other participants for a swimsuit pool party. This element of competition reliably stirred tensions, as friendships and alliances faced tests in the heat of strategy.

The pool party saw Hiroki inviting several participants, including Misaki and Akane, while Aoi chose Ari and Keito. Throughout the episode, the participants were seen utilizing the love techniques developed during their explosive popularity lives, leading to unexpected connections and emotional conflicts.

However, amidst this gameplay, some deeper romantic feelings began to surface. During the mix, male participant Keito was seen trying to massage Meru, who humorously responded with cuteness that seemed to captivate his interest.

Contrastingly, Misaki openly reflected on their intentions of flirting and was also coaxed into a kiss from Yuji during a conversation about overcoming awkwardness. This memorable moment demonstrated the intricate dynamics among the contestants, as they angled for votes and validated their presence in the house.

The stakes intensified with the 2nd Popularity Vote. Here, Keito was eliminated after receiving only one vote, while Misaki, who had previously ranked second, fell to last place. Their fates added further urgency to the competition, heightening the emotional stakes.

In episode four, a Date Party was introduced, requiring women to invite the men they wanted to vote for, adding another layer of strategy. Participants who successfully guessed which male selected them would earn a chance to go on a date. This excitement led to several group pairings, with Itsusei and Meru, Hiroki and Akane, and Hiroyasu and Misaki setting off on promising outings.

While feelings intensified, other participants showed visible discomfort regarding the intensity of the competition. Akane, meanwhile, remained steadfast, asking fellow participants if they were genuinely in love or just caught up in the game, leading to revealing discussions about the balance of love and strategy.

Interspersed throughout were contemplative moments voiced by the studio MCs, illustrating the emotional complexities the participants faced as they navigated the fine line between their ambitions and true feelings. Concerned, Seiya noted, “The game is complex. Just being a Queen doesn’t equal happiness,” highlighting the dilemmas of fame and affection.

The controversies have been compounded by the mix of emotions presented over each episode, making it difficult for viewers to predict outcomes as alliances shifted and love blossomed amidst the strategizing. This transition has sparked considerable interest, prompting comments such as: “I want everyone to watch and discuss this!” and “Things are getting more exciting every week!”

With its cultural setting rooted in Turkey, the show provides a vibrant backdrop against which these personal dramas unfold. With the latest episode set to air on March 19, viewers eagerly anticipate how the continuing mix of strategy, love, and unexpected outcomes will play out in future installments.
