With the 2025 sports season on the horizon, several teams are making it easier for fans to secure tickets to their games, enhancing the excitement of live sporting events.
Starting with Iowa State, the university recently announced the sale of single-game tickets for its 2025 season opener taking place at the Aer Lingus College Football Classic. Fans can now purchase tickets solely for the event, excluding premium seats and travel packages. Those who have already bought travel packages are reminded their game tickets are included and do not need to be re-purchased. The ticket buying window varies, with Cyclone Club members and season ticket holders receiving priority access from January 24 through February 2, 2025. General sales will begin at 10 a.m. on February 5, running through February 28, with tickets then released to the Irish public starting March 3. The game against K-State is set for August 23, 2025, at Aviva Stadium, Dublin.
Meanwhile, the Minnesota United will also start selling single-game tickets this week. Their process involves two phases, beginning with exclusive presales on Wednesday. Members of the Itasca Society can purchase tickets first at 10 a.m., followed by season ticket members at noon, and members of The Preserve at 2 p.m. These early access opportunities are complemented by additional deals for subscribers to the Minnesota United email newsletter on the same day. The general ticket sale opens to the public on Thursday at noon, allowing fans to sit for any home games or the upcoming international friendly.
On the other side of the country, New England Revolution fans are gearing up for their own ticket sales. Starting February 7 at 10:00 a.m. ET, single-game tickets for the Revolution’s 17 home matches during the 2025 Major League Soccer regular season will be available. Various ticket options, including individual tickets, multi-game packages, and Season Memberships, can be purchased through their official websites or ticket partners. Starting prices for single-game tickets are set at $39, with discounts sewn for season members and other groups. Season Memberships start at $493, highlighting the cost-effectiveness for dedicated fans.
For the Revolution, the 2025 season will mark the club's 30th year, and they will host each of the 14 Eastern Conference opponents at Gillette Stadium. The team’s season opener at home will be March 1 against the defending Leagues Cup champion Columbus Crew, following their debut match on February 22 at Nashville SC. Under Head Coach Caleb Porter, the Revolution will field a renewed roster, including captain Carles Gil and several key offseason acquisitions aimed at bolstering their chances for playoff contention.
Fans can also access live matches through various platforms, including the newly launched MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, which features every league match, highlights, and replays. Subscribers can enjoy various packages, with additional offers for T-Mobile customers enabling free access for limited time. Comcast and DIRECTV have joined forces with Apple to provide bundled services, allowing fans to watch games seamlessly.
