2025 Škoda Enyaq Facelift Unveiled With New Features

Škoda refreshes its bestselling electric SUV to boost performance and attract more buyers.

The spotlight is back on Škoda Auto as the company unveils the facelifted version of its popular electric SUV, the Enyaq, set for release on January 9, 2025. Retaining its status as one of Europe’s best-selling electric vehicles, the 2025 Enyaq facelift introduces several design enhancements, improved functionalities, and new technological features aimed at boosting its appeal amid growing competition.

The most noticeable change is the front end, which has adopted the new "Tech-Deck Face" design, eliminating the traditional grille for a sleek, polished look. This design, reportedly inspired by the recently introduced Elroq model, gives the Enyaq a fresh, contemporary appearance. The Škoda logo has been repositioned on the hood, adding to its modern aesthetic. "The new Škoda Enyaq showcases the Modern Solid design language and offers improved aerodynamics for longer range," the company stated. The facelift has resulted in the Enyaq achieving an impressive drag coefficient of 0.245, with the coupé variant even lower at 0.225.

Not only does the new design stand out visually, but it also promises enhanced efficiency. The Enyaq facelift will be available with two battery sizes—63 kWh and 82 kWh—offering electric ranges of up to 596 kilometers, depending on the model. The base model, the Enyaq 60, achieves about 437 kilometers, showcasing the commitment of Škoda to increase electrification without compromising on performance. Charging times have also improved, now reaching from 10 to 80 percent within approximately 24 to 28 minutes at fast chargers, significantly enhancing the user's convenience.

Inside, the 2025 Enyaq offers six different design selections, allowing customers to personalize their experience. Enhanced features now include heated front seats, steering wheel heating, and advanced driver assistance systems such as Side Assist and adaptive cruise control as standard. An optional augmented-reality head-up display and updated infotainment system allow for seamless connectivity and entertainment options, appealing to tech-savvy consumers. "With the Tech-Deck Face, the Enyaq looks significantly updated and aligns with Škoda's new aesthetic direction," industry sources noted.

The competitive automotive market demands constant innovation, and Škoda’s response to this pressure is evident in the facelift of the Enyaq. Already one of the leading players, Škoda aims to continue this momentum with its updated offerings, which feature improved digital capabilities and enhanced safety measures. "The electric SUV remains highly competitive, especially with the enhancements to its digital features and assistance systems," said a Škoda spokesperson.

Pricing for the 2025 Enyaq is set to start from €44,400 for the base variant, offering substantial value considering the enriched features and technological advancements. This slight uptick from previous models reflects Škoda's commitment to providing customers with top-tier electric vehicle experiences.

Škoda has sold over 250,000 units of the Enyaq since its launch, and the brand is optimistic about maintaining or increasing this success with the facelift. The new offerings not only meet the growing demand for electric vehicles but also reflect shifts in consumer preferences for aesthetics and technology. With the facelifted Enyaq, Škoda is poised to solidify its position as a leader in the electric vehicle market.

Looking to the future, the Enyaq will soon transition to Volkswagen’s new SSP platform, expected to launch by 2028. This next-generation platform with enhanced capabilities promises faster charge times and greater efficiencies—an exciting prospect for electric vehicle enthusiasts eager for the next breakthrough.
