2025 A' Design Award Winners Showcased

Innovative designs by Qichao An, Hua Yun, and Min Hsuan Hsieh recognized for excellence and creativity

The prestigious A' Design Award has announced the winners for 2025, celebrating remarkable achievements across several design categories. This year, three standout designs received the Iron A' Design Award, each reflecting innovation and creative excellence.

First among the honorees is the innovative packaging design for fruit tea beverages by Ideamix Lab, crafted by Qichao An. Their design demonstrates not only aesthetic appeal but also practical advantages, making it easier for consumers to identify flavors. Using geometric fruit graphics and vibrant colors, the packaging effectively communicates the essence of the varieties offered, making it both visually attractive and functional.

According to the A' Design Award, Ideamix Lab's packaging aligns with current consumer preferences for clear flavor differentiation, which undoubtedly contributes to its market success. This recognition serves as motivation for Qichao An and his team to continue to innovate within the packaging design sector.

"The successful integration of fruit and tea elements within the limited packaging space is truly commendable," said the award committee. The design exemplifies relevance and market appeal, reaffirming the importance of creative solutions within the packaging community.

Another notable recipient of the Iron A' Design Award is Hua Yun’s Gujin-National Treasure. This unique packaging design intertwines elements of Chinese imperial culture with modern aesthetics to create distinctive packaging. The design features symbolic motifs of ancient royalty, making the product not only functional but also culturally significant.

The square base of the bottle mirrors the solemn elegance of traditional jade seals, and the five dragons on the cover symbolize national prosperity. The spherical dragon pattern inside evokes the mysterious charm of the East, capturing both the eye and the imagination.

"This recognition celebrates our dedication to combining tradition with modernity," said Hua Yun following the announcement. The Gujin-National Treasure design exemplifies how design can resonate deeply with consumers by merging history with innovation.

Min Hsuan Hsieh’s residential apartment project, titled "Wonderful Time," also garnered the Iron A' Design Award for Interior Space and Exhibition Design. Hsieh's approach emphasizes the flow and functionality of space, integrating both light and form to create inviting environments.

The design features innovative elements like partition walls separating the porch from the rest of the apartment, leading to deliberate movement throughout the space. With natural light streaming through open areas, the layout enhances the ambiance of the living space, providing warmth and comfort to its inhabitants.

"The thoughtful approach to space optimization and seamless flow makes Wonderful Time truly exceptional," the award committee commented. It sets new standards for residential design by prioritizing both aesthetics and functionality, inspiring future projects.

Hsieh, affiliated with HanMei Design, aims to create harmonious living spaces, demonstrating how contemporary design can improve quality of life. This recognition is anticipated to influence how future residential projects are conceived and executed.
