A 16-year-old boy attempted to help a woman in distress at a train station in Schorndorf but ended up becoming a victim of violence instead. On the evening of March 21, 2025, around 6 PM, the underpass at Grabenstraße became the scene of a troubling incident that highlights the threats of violence in public spaces.

As he tried to assist her, a man intervened, becoming aggressive and physically attacking the boy. The attacker reportedly pushed the teenager down the stairs. "He went after the 16-year-old physically so that he was pushed down the stairs," said a spokesperson for the Aalen police department.

Police are now seeking information from the public to help identify the assailant. They described him as approximately 40 years old and about 1.70 meters tall. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black-gray winter coat, black pants, and was carrying a blue Nike backpack.
