Captain Le The Van, head of the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Department, shared insights about the formidable challenges his team faces daily. He emphasizes the urgency of protecting citizens from the increasingly sophisticated methods employed by cybercriminals. "We are witnessing complex schemes where perpetrators disguise their identities using various means, making our work even harder," he stated.
During the period of February 25 to 28, prominent international cybercrime experts gathered at the Cyber Crime Forum, which aims to bolster Thailand's defenses against rising cyber threats. The forum facilitated valuable discussions on international collaboration, enhancing information sharing among nations, and updating existing legal frameworks for defense against such crimes.
