Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) has officially opened the examination forms for B.Ed students, allowing them to fill out their applications for the academic year 2024-2025 starting today, February 27, 2025.
According to reports, students enrolled in the first and final year of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program as well as those who are repeating courses can apply online via the university's dedicated portal at annual.ccsuniversityweb.in. The deadline for submitting forms without incurring any late fees is set for March 18, 2025.
The B.Ed examination forms accommodate various categories, including first-year main exams for the 2024-2026 session, second-year main exams for the 2023-2025 session, and back exams for first-year students. Former students from the B.Ed and Special B.Ed sessions (2022-2024) are also eligible to submit their forms.
Students who miss the March 18 cutoff can still fill out their forms by paying a late fee of ₹500 from March 19 to March 20. All completed forms must be submitted at the respective colleges by March 21. Colleges will have to verify the submitted forms by March 23, and the verified candidates' roll lists will be published on each college's website and communicated to students via email by March 26.
This new announcement has stirred some discontent among students, particularly concerning the late fee implementation. Many argue it penalizes them for issues linked to the university's administrative inefficiencies. Ankit Adhana, a student leader, criticized the late fee, noting, "Delays often arise due to technical glitches like fee updates or incorrect codes, forcing students to navigate through multiple trips to the university."
The university has stated the B.Ed main examinations are scheduled for the second week of May 2024, putting pressure on students to complete their applications as quickly as possible. Students are encouraged to adhere to the timelines to avoid any last-minute issues.
