Fans can expect to meet more adorable spirit companions when the game launches on PS5 and PC in 2026.

But that was just the beginning. PlayStation Studios had plenty more in store, with Sony Santa Monica taking the spotlight to reveal two major God of War projects. The much-rumored God of War: Sons of Sparta, a 2D side-scrolling spin-off developed in collaboration with Mega Cat Studios, was not only confirmed but released immediately following the stream. For those craving a return to the series’ roots, a full remake of the original God of War trilogy was also announced, with TC Carson, the original voice of Kratos, making a special appearance to confirm the news.
