Invincible Season 4 Premieres March 18 On Prime Video

The animated superhero series returns with new villains, high-stakes battles, and the arrival of Thragg as fans prepare for weekly episodes and a star-studded cast.

Fans of the animated superhero series Invincible are about to get their next adrenaline rush. After a long wait between earlier seasons, the hit show returns with its much-anticipated fourth season, premiering on Amazon Prime Video on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Viewers can mark their calendars, as the first three episodes will drop all at once, with the rest following weekly—an approach that promises to keep the excitement fresh for over a month.

According to DraftKings Network, the three-episode premiere will include “Making the World a Better Place,” “I’ll Give You the Grand Tour,” and “I Gotta Get Some Air.” Each episode is expected to run about 50 minutes, giving fans plenty to sink their teeth into right from the start. The eight-episode season will then roll out one new episode every Wednesday until the finale on April 22, 2026. For those wondering about release times, Hollywood Life reports that in the United States and Canada, the episodes go live at 12 a.m. PT (3 a.m. ET), while UK fans can tune in at 7 a.m. GMT.

The return of Invincible is more than just another season of superhero antics. The show, which first premiered in 2021, has built a reputation for turning the genre on its head. It follows Mark Grayson, a teenager who discovers his powers and grapples with the daunting legacy of his father, Omni-Man. But as fans know, being a hero in this universe is anything but straightforward. Mark’s journey from naive teen to hardened hero has been filled with brutal battles, emotional turmoil, and the ever-present shadow of betrayal.

The ensemble cast for season 4 is as star-studded as ever. Returning voices include Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson (a.k.a. Invincible), J.K. Simmons as the formidable Nolan Grayson (Omni-Man), Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson, and Christian Convery as Oliver Grayson. Other major names reprising their roles are Gillian Jacobs (Samantha Eve Wilkins/Atom Eve), Andrew Rannells (William Clockwell), Walton Goggins (Cecil Stedman), Chris Diamantopoulos (Donald Ferguson), Seth Rogen (Allen the Alien), Tatiana Maslany (Telia), Peter Cullen (Thaedus), Michael Dorn (Trokk/Battle Beast), Zachary Quinto (Robot), Ben Schwartz (Shapesmith), Khary Payton (Markus Grimshaw/Black Samson), Jay Pharoah (Zandale Randolph/Bulletproof), Ross Marquand (Immortal & Rex), Grey DeLisle (Shrinking Rae & Monster Girl), Clancy Brown (Damien Darkblood & Kregg), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Conquest), Lee Pace (Thragg), Matthew Rhys (Dinosaurus), Danai Gurira (Universa), and Djimon Hounsou (Space Racer). With such a deep bench of talent, every episode promises dynamic performances and memorable moments.

This season, the stakes are higher than ever. Earth is still recovering from the devastation of season 3, which featured everything from PowerPlex’s rampage to the chaos of the Invincible War and the destructive arrival of Conquest. According to DraftKings Network, Rex Splode didn’t survive these battles, while Atom Eve narrowly escaped death and now stands more powerful than ever. Conquest, meanwhile, survived and is being kept in a coma by the Global Defense Agency (GDA). And Angstrom Levy, who orchestrated an army of evil Invincibles, remains at large—though now manipulated by the shadowy Technicians.

But that’s not all. Damien Darkblood, the show’s resident demon detective, is plotting something sinister from Hell. And then there’s the looming threat of the Viltrum Empire. Last season, viewers learned from Nolan that only about 50 true Viltrumites remain, but that’s more than enough to pose a dire threat to Earth. The Empire’s invasion plans are moving forward, with solo Viltrumites already causing havoc. Mark, Eve, and Oliver will need every ally they can muster—including Allen the Alien, the Guardians of the Globe, Battle Beast, Thaedus, and even Omni-Man himself.

Season 4 also introduces new villains, raising the bar for suspense and danger. According to Hollywood Life, fans will finally meet Thragg, the ruthless leader of the Viltrum Empire, who is described as even more dangerous than Omni-Man. Thragg’s arrival is expected to push Mark to his absolute limits, both physically and emotionally. Dinosaurus and Universa, two formidable adversaries from the comics, will also make their animated debuts, promising more jaw-dropping action and unexpected twists.

As the storyline unfolds, viewers can expect more than just intergalactic battles. The show will continue to explore Mark’s struggle with his own identity and the burden of his father’s legacy. The tension between Mark’s desire to do good and the harsh realities of the world he inhabits will be front and center. And, for long-time fans, there’s a nostalgic twist: Mark will don his original yellow and blue costume once again, a nod to his roots and a symbol of his ongoing evolution as a hero.

For those just catching up or wanting to revisit earlier episodes, all previous seasons of Invincible are available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. And there’s more good news for die-hard fans: as confirmed by DraftKings Network, Amazon renewed the series for a fifth season in July 2025. If the current release pattern holds, season 5 could arrive as early as 2027, ensuring that the saga of Mark Grayson and his allies is far from over.

So, what can viewers expect from the new season? Invasions, betrayals, and space battles, for starters. The trailer teases Allen and Nolan seeking Mark’s help on Earth, while Eve grapples with her ever-growing powers—a storyline that has evolved since her standalone prequel episode in 2023. With the Viltrumite threat looming, alliances will be tested, and the boundaries between hero and villain may blur even further.

With its blend of brutal action, emotional storytelling, and a cast of characters as complex as they are compelling, Invincible season 4 is poised to deliver another unforgettable ride. As the world waits for March 18, one thing’s for sure: in this universe, nothing is ever simple, and every choice comes with a cost.
