Estée Lauder Launches Global Events And Awards Blitz

From a major warehouse sale in Canada to a glamorous New York launch and a women-focused awards ceremony in India, Estée Lauder Companies is making an impact across the beauty world this October.

Beauty enthusiasts across the globe have plenty to celebrate this October, as Estée Lauder Companies makes headlines with a trio of high-profile events and initiatives, each underscoring the company’s enduring influence in the cosmetics industry. From a blockbuster warehouse sale near Toronto to a star-studded store launch in New York City and a major awards ceremony in Mumbai, Estée Lauder’s recent moves showcase both its global reach and its commitment to supporting innovation, local talent, and artistry.

First up, Canadian shoppers have a rare opportunity to refresh their makeup bags without breaking the bank. According to Curiosity, one of the largest beauty warehouse sales in the country is set to unfold at The International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, from October 17 to 19, 2025. The Estée Lauder MAC Warehouse Sale promises discounts of 50 percent or more on an impressive lineup of brands—think MAC, Smashbox, Aveda, Bobbi Brown, Tom Ford Beauty, Origins, and, of course, Estée Lauder itself. The event is free to attend and runs Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a shorter window on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

For beauty lovers who’ve been waiting to stock up on high-quality makeup, skincare, hair care, and fragrances, the timing couldn’t be better. The sale is expected to draw crowds eager to snag luxury products at a fraction of their usual prices. As Curiosity puts it, “grab your besties, clear some space on your vanity, and get ready to score luxe beauty finds for less.” With the holiday season just around the corner, it’s safe to say that this event is poised to be a highlight for the region’s beauty community.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Estée Lauder Companies continues to make waves in India’s fast-growing beauty market. On October 7, 2025, the company—together with Indian beauty giant Nykaa—announced the winners of the fourth annual Beauty & You awards in Mumbai, according to The Business of Fashion. The awards, which recognize excellence and innovation in the beauty sector, drew almost 2,500 applicants from more than 150 cities across India and beyond.

This year’s winners included Antinorm (Grow category for in-market brands), Mimiq (Imagine category for pre-launch concepts), and Hitech Formulations (Breakthrough category for innovations in beauty). Notably, the inaugural Visionary Women’s Award, created in partnership with Startup India to honor female founders, went to Khanak Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Sohrai Beauty. Her brand, which previously won the Impact award in 2023 for its corporate social responsibility efforts, is known for high-performance skincare products made from mahua oil—a traditional ingredient harvested by local tribal women.

Gupta credited the awards with helping her brand move from concept to reality, saying, “Winning the award [in 2023] opened the first doors for me to create the brand, release our first formulations, and bring the idea to life.” She added, “Now we can bring the business onto a global platform, and unlock our R&D engines.” The winners receive financial support from a prize pool of up to $500,000, as well as mentoring and access to industry leaders. The judging panel for the 2025 awards included Estée Lauder Companies’ chief financial officer Akhil Shrivastava, Nykaa Beauty CEO Anchit Nayar, and actress and Kay Beauty co-founder Katrina Kaif.

Estée Lauder’s focus on India is hardly new—the company has launched 14 brands in the market over the past 20 years and has invested in local favorites such as Forest Essentials, a premium Ayurvedic skincare brand. Nadine Graf, president of EMEA, UK, Ireland, and emerging markets, emphasized the importance of local relevance, stating, “You can only achieve that when you have your own talents and teams in the market that actually breathe the local culture every single day.” The company also boasts that 60 percent of its leadership in India is female, a point of pride that dovetails with the goals of the Visionary Women’s Award.

Back in the United States, Estée Lauder Companies brought a touch of glamour to New York City earlier this month with the opening of four new fragrance stores on Prince Street in SoHo. As reported by ELLE Magazine, the event on Friday, October 3, 2025, was a feast for the senses, drawing 100 guests from the worlds of media, entertainment, and sports—including bestselling author Tomi Adeyemi, former NFL player and Special Olympics ambassador Dale Moss, and model Martha Hunt.

The evening began with an elaborate outdoor dinner stretching nearly an entire city block, catered by the art-filled Manuela restaurant. Artistry was a central theme throughout the night, with each store offering a unique interactive experience. At Kilian Paris, guests mingled around a bar inspired by the brand’s Rue Cambon location in Paris. Jo Malone London invited attendees to paint bottles inspired by its bestselling scents, while Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle hosted sketch artist sessions. Tom Ford Beauty’s new store—its first standalone beauty boutique in North America—let visitors try on sunglasses, blending fashion and fragrance in true Tom Ford style.

The opening underscored Estée Lauder’s commitment to creativity and the celebration of individual brand identities. The company’s approach to retail goes beyond merely selling products; it’s about creating immersive experiences that reflect the artistry and heritage of each label in its portfolio. For guests, the evening was a rare chance to engage with beauty in a hands-on, personalized way—an approach that’s increasingly important in today’s experience-driven retail landscape.

Across these diverse events and initiatives, a few common threads emerge. Estée Lauder Companies is leveraging its global scale to foster local connections, support emerging talent, and deliver memorable experiences. Whether it’s empowering women entrepreneurs in India, making luxury beauty accessible in Canada, or redefining retail in New York, the company remains at the forefront of an ever-evolving industry. As the year draws to a close, beauty lovers and industry insiders alike will be watching to see what Estée Lauder does next.
