As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, two worlds—one rooted in vibrant community gatherings and the other in the glow of television screens—are preparing for a season filled with faith, festivity, and storytelling. In Singapore, Celebfest Ramadan 2026 is gearing up to welcome thousands for three days of celebration, shopping, and reflection, while across the Arab world, television networks and streaming platforms are unveiling their most ambitious dramas and returning hits, reaffirming Ramadan’s unique place as a time for both communal gathering and shared narratives.

From February 27 to March 1, Suntec Singapore’s Halls 403 to 406 will be transformed into a sprawling hub of culture and commerce. According to Alvinology, Celebfest Ramadan 2026 will feature more than 250 vendors and over 50 celebrity appearances from Singapore and Malaysia, promising a festival experience that bridges generations. Admission is free, and the doors are open daily from noon to 10pm, inviting families, friends, and communities to come together in anticipation of Ramadan and the upcoming Hari Raya festivities.

The event’s star-studded lineup includes popular names like Mimi Fly, Sufian Suhaimi, Nabila Razali, Ayda Jebat, MK K-Clique, Mierul Aiman, and Zahiril Adzim, who recently clinched Malaysia’s ‘Popular TV Actor’ award. Notable appearances by Amira Othman, Lah Ahmad, Hael Husaini, Nadeera, Ajai, and Aishah Retno are also on the cards. Performances and meet-and-greet sessions have been carefully curated to respect the sanctity of Ramadan, focusing on family-appropriate entertainment that uplifts without overstepping.

But Celebfest isn’t just about star power. It’s designed as an inclusive festival for all ages. A dedicated kids’ zone will offer bouncy castles, balloon sculpting, face painting, and complimentary balloons for every child. The first 200 attendees each day will receive a bouquet from Hello.ily, adding a sweet and memorable touch to their visit. For those seeking a taste of celebrity life, Fotika’s interactive photo experiences—including a 360-degree revolving photobooth and the Magic Mirror photobooth—promise plenty of fun and Instagram-worthy moments.

As the sun sets each day, the call to prayer will echo throughout the venue, inviting visitors to pause and break fast together. This shared moment of reflection and gratitude embodies the spirit of Ramadan, turning the festival into more than just a shopping spree—it becomes a space for faith and connection.

Food, fashion, and festive preparations are at the heart of Celebfest. With over 40 food and beverage concepts and more than 200 retail brands on site, visitors can indulge in Ramadan favorites, discover new culinary delights for iftar, and explore exclusive launches from modest fashion labels, beauty and fragrance brands, home scent collections, and festive Raya wear. The event is billed as a one-stop destination for all things Ramadan and Aidilfitri, streamlining preparations and making it easy for families to get ready for the season in a single visit.

For those feeling lucky, hourly draws throughout the weekend will offer $100 cash prizes. Shoppers who spend at least $50 in a single receipt will qualify for the Grand Lucky Draw, sponsored by Karva Travel. The prizes? An 11-day Classic Umrah package worth $4,895, a $1,000 Karva Travel voucher for Umrah, and a $500 Karva Travel voucher for Wisata travel—making the stakes as high as the excitement.

Staying true to the values of Ramadan, Celebfest will also feature religious segments led by respected asatizah, offering opportunities for reflection and learning. A partnership with Tabung Amal Aidilfitri will encourage charitable giving, weaving community-focused initiatives into the program and reminding attendees of the importance of generosity during the holy month.

The festival is organized by Adi Media Pte Ltd, the same homegrown company behind Twilight: Flea & Feast and FOMO Weekend Market. This year, presenting partners include UTV, a next-generation streaming platform, and Amber, a Malaysian lifestyle brand known for home fragrances, beauty, and fashion. Over the years, Celebfest has grown into one of Singapore’s signature biannual lifestyle festivals, drawing crowds eager to celebrate, shop, and connect.

Meanwhile, as families gather in person, millions across the Arab world will also come together—albeit virtually—through the season’s most anticipated television programming. According to The National, Ramadan remains the defining season for Arab television, with broadcasters and streaming platforms unveiling ambitious dramas, returning favorites, and seasonal specials. Daily scheduling is confirmed throughout the month, though broadcast times will be announced closer to each show’s premiere.

This year’s lineup is as diverse as it is compelling. Amr Saad stars in Efrag, a dark, character-driven redemption story directed by Ahmed Khaled Mousa that probes complicity and the limits of forgiveness. Yasmin Abdelaziz leads Wa Nensa Elli Kan, a high-stakes romance-thriller with Karim Fahmy, blending action, celebrity paranoia, and a protector-bodyguard relationship that blurs professional and personal lines. El Maddah: Ostouret El Nehaya returns for its sixth season, with Hamada Helal anchoring a narrative that positions itself as a final reckoning between faith, power, and evil.

Other notable series include Mawlana, starring Taim Hassan, which explores belief as both weapon and refuge through the lens of a crime drama; Share’ Al A’sha, returning for its second season; and Ali Clay, an Egyptian drama about a professional boxer’s struggle for redemption. The programming slate also features family sagas like Awlad Al Ra’i, comedies such as Wadima wa Halima 5, and anthologies like Ghanawi Al Shawq, which draws inspiration from classic Gulf and Arab songs.

Streaming platforms aren’t left out. Yango Play is premiering Manna’a, starring Egyptian actress Hend Sabry in her first Ramadan drama in five years, alongside a suspenseful lineup that includes El Nos El Tani, Khatawat Saghira (Small Steps), and Kan Ya Makan. Viu is offering Rouge Aswad, a legal drama set in Egypt’s Family Court, and Bayt El Ahlam, which follows a group of friends navigating life in Damascus.

Foodies have something to look forward to as well, with Fatafeat’s Matbakh Manal Al Alem: Ramadan Edition and Kitchen Tales: Ramadan Edition guiding viewers through themed menus and revived classic recipes for the season. These shows emphasize practical home cooking, nutritious ingredients, and the joy of sharing meals with loved ones.

The themes running through this year’s Ramadan programming—faith, identity, family, love, ambition, and social issues—mirror the values celebrated at events like Celebfest. Both the festival and the television slate are designed to bring people together, whether through shared physical spaces or collective storytelling. As the call to prayer signals the end of each day’s fast, and as families gather around the dinner table or the television, the spirit of Ramadan—reflection, generosity, and unity—shines through in every corner of the community.

This season, whether you’re exploring Suntec’s bustling halls, tuning in to a gripping new drama, or simply sharing a meal with family, Ramadan 2026 promises a tapestry of experiences that honor tradition, celebrate creativity, and foster connection.
