Capital Summertime Ball 2026 Brings Star Power To Wembley

A blockbuster line-up, new talent, and a crowd of 80,000 promise an unforgettable day at London’s iconic stadium as Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard returns this June.

London’s Wembley Stadium is set to come alive once again as Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard returns on Saturday, June 6, 2026, promising a day of pop spectacle, chart-topping performances, and unforgettable moments. With a star-studded line-up, new faces, and a crowd expected to reach nearly 80,000, the event cements its status as one of the UK’s most anticipated summer music gatherings.

Capital, the radio giant behind the Ball, has pulled out all the stops for the 2026 edition. The line-up, unveiled in waves across Capital Breakfast and official press releases, reads like a who’s who of global pop and dance music. Among the confirmed acts are RAYE, fresh from a triumphant year that saw her scoop seven BRIT Awards and top the charts with her album This Music May Contain Hope. Niall Horan, another fan favorite, returns to Wembley with hits like “Slow Hands” and “Nice To Meet Ya,” just ahead of his fourth solo album, Dinner Party, set for release in June.

Dance music legend Calvin Harris is making his fourth appearance at the Ball. According to Capital, he’ll bring a setlist packed with anthems such as “We Found Love,” “One Kiss,” and “Blessings.” It’s not just a return for Harris—Jason Derulo, known for global smashes like “In My Head” and “Ridin’ Solo,” will grace the Wembley stage for the first time since 2015. Lola Young, a BRIT and GRAMMY Award winner, is also set to perform, treating fans to tracks like “Messy” and “One Thing.”

The roster continues with Fatboy Slim, who, as Capital notes, will bring “Praise You” and “Right Here, Right Now” to the crowd for his Summertime Ball debut. Robyn, the Swedish pop icon behind “Dancing On My Own,” will return, while American star Bebe Rexha, Myles Smith (fresh off a BRIT Award win and a tour with Ed Sheeran), and rising talents like Sekou and December 10 (formed on Netflix’s The Next Act) round out a line-up that’s both familiar and fresh.

But that’s not all. This year’s Ball is making room for breakthrough artists and international flavor. Japanese group XG will perform for the first time as the Capital Buzz Artist, reflecting their rising global profile. British newcomer Sienna Spiro, whose single “Die On This Hill” and recent BRIT Award shortlist have made waves, is set for a career-defining Wembley debut. Fans can also look forward to performances by Stephen Sanchez (“Until I Found You”) and MEEK, whose track “Fabulous” has made her one to watch.

“Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard is back in a huge way for 2026, with a line-up packed with some of the biggest and freshest names in music,” said Ashley Tabor-King, founder and executive president of Global, in a press statement. “It’s going to be an incredible day at the iconic Wembley Stadium, packed with unforgettable performances, massive moments and 80,000 Capital listeners all there to enjoy every second of it. We’re thrilled to bring the Summertime Ball back for another spectacular year.”

Simon Pitts, group CEO of Global, echoed the excitement, adding, “It takes a huge amount behind the scenes to deliver an event like Capital’s Summertime Ball at this scale. With the line-up now confirmed, we’re set for a big day at Wembley, and proud to be working with Barclaycard to bring it all together.”

The event’s logistics are as carefully orchestrated as its musical line-up. General doors open at 1:30 PM, with the main show kicking off at 3:30 PM and running until approximately 10:00 PM. That’s over six hours of live music—a marathon by festival standards. Wembley Stadium, with its capacity of around 90,000, will once again serve as the perfect backdrop, accessible via London Underground, Chiltern Railways, Overground, and a host of bus routes. Organizers strongly encourage early arrival, given the size of the crowd and the security checks in place.

Tickets are, unsurprisingly, in hot demand. The pre-sale opens on Wednesday, April 29 at 9:00 AM via the Global Player app, with general sale following on Thursday, April 30 at 9:00 AM. Barclaycard customers can access a 10% discount through a special pre-sale. While official prices have yet to be confirmed, previous years suggest standard tickets will start around £45 to £90, with premium and VIP packages costing significantly more. Accessible tickets for wheelchair users and those with ambulant needs are sold exclusively through Wembley Stadium’s dedicated phone line, ensuring everyone has a fair shot at attending.

Entry rules are strict but sensible. Each attendee is allowed one bag, no larger than A4 size. Suncream in plastic bottles up to 200ml is permitted, as are empty soft plastic water bottles (up to 500ml), which can be refilled at stations inside. Outside food and alcohol are strictly prohibited, though a wide array of food options will be available within the stadium. Alcohol sales operate under a Challenge 25 policy, so ID is a must for anyone hoping to purchase a drink.

For families, there are clear guidelines: children under five are not allowed, and those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Kids under 12 are barred from the Pitch and Golden Circle standing areas, and Level 5 seating is not recommended for those with vertigo.

In a nod to the event’s growing reach, highlights from the Ball will be aired in a special broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX, bringing the best moments to fans across the UK who can’t make it in person. As Capital points out, this partnership with ITV ensures that the Ball’s magic extends far beyond Wembley’s walls.

With the full line-up now confirmed and excitement building, the countdown is on. The Summertime Ball’s blend of pop royalty, emerging stars, and meticulous planning promises an event that’s as much about the shared experience as it is about the music. For tens of thousands of fans, June 6 can’t come soon enough.

As the sun sets on Wembley that Saturday night, the echoes of chart hits, crowd singalongs, and new discoveries will linger—a reminder of why the Summertime Ball remains a highlight of the UK’s live music calendar year after year.
