Atlanta, Georgia is gearing up for a new summer tradition that’s set to bring together fans of baseball and country music in a way the city has never seen before. On June 13, 2026, the inaugural Braves Country Fest presented by Truist will take over Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta, promising a day-long celebration where America’s pastime and country music culture collide under the stadium lights.
Announced by the Atlanta Braves and Live Nation, Braves Country Fest is designed to be more than just a concert—it’s a full-fledged festival experience. According to MLB.com, the event will feature free activations and performances throughout the day at The Battery Atlanta, a sprawling 3 million square-foot entertainment district that, together with Truist Park, draws more than nine million visitors each year. As the sun sets, the party will move inside the ballpark for an evening concert headlined by some of the brightest stars in country music: Cody Johnson, Ella Langley, ERNEST, and Mackenzie Carpenter.
“It has been our goal to create Atlanta Braves experiences that extend beyond the game of baseball, and Braves Country Fest presented by Truist will be an incredible celebration of the rich country music culture that permeates throughout Braves Country,” said Braves President and CEO Derek Schiller, as quoted by Country Now. He added, “We designed The Battery Atlanta and Truist Park for events like this, allowing us to engage fans and showcase celebrated artists in an environment unlike any other. We believe this will become a destination event for fans across Braves Country while helping support the incredible work of the Atlanta Braves Foundation.”
The festival’s daytime activities are free and open to the public, inviting fans to explore live music and interactive experiences at The Battery Atlanta. One of the highlights will be the Braves Country Hot Prospects showcase, set on the Whiskey Jam stage at the Georgia Power Pavilion. This non-ticketed event will shine a spotlight on rising country acts from across the Southeast, including Zach John King, Scoot Teasley, and Colton Bowlin.
Each of these emerging artists brings a unique flavor to the festival. Zach John King, a Fayetteville, Georgia native, is described by MLB.com as pairing "the reflective insight of a roots poet with the edgy intensity of raw alt-rock," and his songs have racked up nearly 30 million streams. King’s latest EP, Slow Down, dropped in 2025, and he’s already toured with big names like Morgan Wallen and Luke Bryan.
Colton Bowlin, hailing from Albany, Kentucky, is known for his authentic, traditional country sound. His single “Don’t Come Home” was recognized by Whiskey Riff as one of the "New Country Songs That Need to be on Your Radar," and Holler named him among the "10 Country and Americana Artists You Need to Know." Bowlin’s music is steeped in classic country roots, and his reputation is growing fast.
Scoot Teasley, from Toccoa, Georgia, is carving out his own lane by blending classic Southern storytelling with modern hip-hop and soul influences. Billboard has called his singles "must-hear," and his EP Country Back earned him a spot on Nashville Briefing’s "25 Artists to Watch" list. He’s also been featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Country and CMT’s Next Up Now.
As the day transitions to night, attention will turn to the main event inside Truist Park. Headlining the evening are four major artists who have each made significant waves in the country music scene. Cody Johnson, described by MusicRow as someone who "just might be the future of real country music," capped off 2025 as Male Vocalist of the Year at the 59th Annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards. His hit single "Dirt Cheap" was named Song of the Year by the Academy of Country Music, and his album Leather took home the 2024 CMA for Album of the Year. With 42 Gold and Platinum certifications and nearly 10 billion global streams, Johnson’s star power is undeniable.
Ella Langley, another headliner, has quickly become one of country music’s new voices. The Hope Hull, Alabama native was named ACM New Artist of the Year in 2024 and made history in 2025 with her debut album hungover. Her single "you look like you love me" swept the CMA awards, winning Single, Song, Music Video, and Musical Event of the Year. Her latest chart-topper, "Choosin’ Texas," hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Chart and cracked the top five of the Billboard Top 100, a rare feat for a country artist.
ERNEST, a Nashville native dubbed "Nashville’s current songwriting kingpin" by The Tennessean, has penned more than a dozen number one hits for stars like Morgan Wallen and Post Malone. The Los Angeles Times praised him for "reviving the sound of classic country music." His own duet with Wallen, "Cowgirls," was his first number one as an artist, and he’s been nominated for multiple ACM awards.
Mackenzie Carpenter, a rising star from Hull, Georgia, rounds out the lineup. Already a platinum-selling songwriter, she’s been named to MusicRow Magazine’s ‘Next Big Thing’ Artists Class of 2025 and Spotify’s Hot Country 2024 Artists to Watch. She’s shared stages with Miranda Lambert and Jake Owen, and her momentum only seems to be building.
Braves Country Fest is not just about music and entertainment—it’s also about giving back. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Atlanta Braves Foundation, supporting community initiatives throughout Braves Country. As noted in the official announcements, this aligns with the Braves’ ongoing commitment to expanding their impact beyond the baseball diamond.
Tickets for the evening concert go on sale to the general public on January 30, 2026, at 10 a.m. ET via braves.com/bravescountryfest. For those eager to secure their spots early, presales begin January 29 at 10 a.m. ET for Atlanta Braves A-List and Premium Members, Live Nation All Access members, and Truist cardholders—who can use the first six digits of their Truist debit or credit card as the code. Braves registered users will receive presale access later that day at 1 p.m. ET. There are ticket options for individuals, groups, and VIP experiences, making it accessible for all kinds of fans.
Peter Conlon, Chairman of Live Nation Georgia, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “By bringing together the most talented artists in country music with one of the best venues in the country, we are able to create an unforgettable and meaningful fan experience while supporting the community and showcasing the genre’s continued growth.” Bradley Jordan, Partner at Peachtree Entertainment, added, “By showcasing artists who built their careers playing venues around the Southeast, we believe Braves Country Fest presented by Truist celebrates country music and its place in the fabric of the culture in the region and beyond.”
With its blend of major stars, rising talents, and a commitment to community, Braves Country Fest looks poised to become a signature Atlanta event—one that extends the Braves experience far beyond the baseball field and deep into the heart of country music.
